JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Director of Data Analytics / Integration for a Direct-Hire opportunity that is located in Addison, TX 75001 (onsite 5-days per week). The Director of Data Analytics / Integration will provide strategic leadership in shaping the enterprise-wide data and AI vision, building a scalable and modern data ecosystem, and driving measurable business value through data innovation. The Director of Data Analytics / Integration will own the strategy and execution of enterprise data governance, architecture, and analytics initiatives, ensuring data is managed as a trusted, governed, and strategic asset. The Director of Data Analytics / Integration will partner with executive leadership, operations, and technology teams to align enterprise data strategy with real-world business outcomes, enabling growth, efficiency, and innovation across the organization.
  • Provide strategic leadership for enterprise-wide data and AI initiatives, defining the long-term vision for data analytics, governance, and integration across a complex manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Lead the development of a scalable, modern data ecosystem leveraging Azure DataLake, DataFactory, Synapse, and PowerBI, enabling unified, governed, and actionable analytics capabilities.
  • Translate complex data challenges into business-aligned strategies that drive measurable impact, supporting executive decision-making and operational excellence.
  • Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to integrate data from MS D365 (F&O / SCM), optimizing data flow, accuracy, and insight generation.
  • Design and implement enterprise data models, reporting frameworks, and governance structures that balance agility, scalability, and data trustworthiness.
  • Develop and execute data-driven roadmaps - defining current state, target architecture, and phased transformation plans aligned to organizational priorities.
  • Serve as the executive advisor and thought leader on data strategy, ensuring analytics investments align with enterprise objectives and deliver tangible business value.
  • Build and lead a high-performing data organization, mentoring teams across BI development, data engineering, and data governance to strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
  • Communicate insights and strategy to senior and C-suite stakeholders through compelling data storytelling, clear visualization, and structured business narratives.
  • Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making, innovation, and continuous improvement across business and technology functions.

About the Project: The Director of Data Analytics / Integration is a high-level, strategic Director, with executive presence. The Director of Data Analytics / Integration must view data from a business perspective, connects dots strategically, translates business requests into long-term vision and future-state goals, and communicates clearly to executives ("Here's where we are, here's where we need to be, here's how we'll get there, and here's how long it will take"). The Director of Data Analytics / Integration will define / execute enterprise data and analytics strategy aligned with corporate goals, champion ethical AI and governance, engage senior leaders for growth / efficiency / transformation, develop business cases, translate requirements into strategies, build support for plans, and influence diverse audiences via data visualization and customized communication. The ideal Director of Data Analytics / Integration should NOT be a "pure data person" but rather someone who promotes Data / AI as strategic assets and provides direction by analyzing business objectives, costs, forecasts, and resource needs.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
