We currently have a direct hire opportunity available for a Director of IT Infrastructure Solutions. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring the individual to be on site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
This individual would be responsible for designing, architecting and implementing Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions. In this role you would have between 4-5 direct reports and would have hands on responsibility typically 75%-25%.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Set strategy and establish standards for our client'sIT Infrastructure.
  • Design and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans to meet existing and future Infrastructure requirements.
  • Build Reference Architecture and provide escalation support for server, storage, network (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Access Points, etc.), virtual environments and cloud architecture.
  • Establish and maintain regular written and in executives, stakeholders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent infrastructure activities.
  • Provide Escalation support and hands-on leadership for server, storage, network, and telecom tasks.
  • Develop resource plans for projects that require engineering resources.
  • Leverage best practices and process frameworks, such as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) to drive continual process improvement.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Supervises Managers, Architect, System Admin and Cloud Engineering teams.
Basic Qualifications Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or electrical engineering. Master's degree a plus.
  • 15+ years' experience in enterprise, multi-locations, including experience in the implementation, management and maintenance of information technology infrastructure and IT systems including cloud architecture, server technologies, and communication technologies, LANs, WANs, SD-WAN, voice, and data communication systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet products is required.
  • Certifications such asCCNP(Cisco Certified Network Professional) and/orFortinet NSE 4 or higherare a plus.
  • High-energy team player with a positive attitude
  • Cool disposition under pressure.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to interface and influence all levels of management.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across internal and external audiences.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
  • This position requires individuals to be able to move/lift to 75 pounds.
  • Must have the ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and be attentive to details.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
