*About the Role* Join the rapidly growing Microsoft Data Center team and play a critical role in supporting one of the world's leading technology companies. This position is perfect for individuals with a warehouse or logistics experience who are eager to transition into the IT space. *What You'll Do* * Perform assigned tasks independently and escalate issues when necessary during high-volume or escalation-based situations. * Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries (e.g., PO receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor activities). * Maintain accurate physical inventory tracking and staging. * Conduct inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and compliance/certification control audits. * Handle material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard processes. * Perform secure destruction of data-bearing devices (DBDs) following documented procedures and runbooks. *What We're Looking For* * *Experience:*1-2+ years in a warehouse/supply chain IT and logistics environment (e.g., FedEx, Amazon fulfillment). * 1+ year shipping/receiving experience. * 1+ year inventory management experience. * *Skills:*Basic understanding of computer applications and software. * Previous data center experience is a plus. * Technology certifications are a plus. *Why You'll Love This Role* * *Career Growth:* Microsoft converts many contractors to full-time employees. * *Learning Opportunity:* Ideal for candidates looking to break into IT from logistics * *Work Environment:* A-Side Shift: 12-hour shifts, Sunday-Tuesday (+ rotating Wednesday). * *Competitive Pay:* Starting at $20/hour. * *Impact:* Be part of a team that powers Microsoft's global operations. *Extra Perks* * Exposure to cutting-edge technology and data center operations. * Collaborative and inclusive work culture. * Opportunity to gain valuable experience in one of the fastest-growing sectors. *Hours: * A- Side Shift: 12 hr Sun- Tuesday (+rotating Wednesday) B- Side Shift: 12 hr Thurs- Saturday (+rotating Wednesday) *Ready to take the next step in your career?
