Description Job Description: Looking for a Software Test Analyst to join their team. 2-3 years of manual testing experience; Preference to UAT, business testing, validating business requirements or acceptance criteria No education/certification requirements Experience working with State of Michigan or on a Health & Human Services project is a nice to have, but not a requirement Located in Michigan, must be able to work on-site 1 day a week in downtown Lansing, MI. All other days are remote. Duties/Responsibilities: Perform multiple testing functions across the project including: User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test planning UAT test execution Data prep or setup Assist in defect triage Complete State of Michigan (SOM) State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE) documentation as needed. The team member should: Apply business and functional knowledge to meet the team's overall test objectives. Perform various business testing roles, depending on the needs of each project. Ensure traceability on requirements or are acceptance criteria are met for business testing. Adhere to testing principles, processes, and methods Skills Quality assurance, Quality assurance testing, Software testing, Manual testing, Manual, Test case, Agile, Test plan Additional Skills & Qualifications strong communication skills Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lansing, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
