Overview We are seeking a Telecommunications Drafter to support the engineering team at a leading electrical utility company. This role focuses on creating and updating technical drawings to assist telecommunications projects. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills and experience with MicroStation, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Bluebeam. Key Responsibilities * Collaborate directly with engineers to produce accurate telecommunications drawings. * Transfer existing drafts from MicroStation into Microsoft Visio. * Utilize Bluebeam for document review and markup. * Draft and edit diagrams using Microsoft Visio for telecommunications projects. * Upload and manage files within ProjectWise document management system. * Ensure all drawings meet company standards and project specifications. Basic Qualifications * Proficiency in MicroStation (required). * Experience with Microsoft Visio and Bluebeam (preferred). * Familiarity with ProjectWise (preferred but not required). * Previous experience in the utility industry, ideally electrical utilities. Skills * Drafting and design for telecommunications projects. * Visual design and technical documentation. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Additional Qualifications * Previous electrical utility experience is highly desirable. * Professional demeanor: humble, considerate, and collaborative. Top Skills * MicroStation drafting expertise. * Microsoft Visio and Bluebeam proficiency. * Ability to adapt and learn new tools quickly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
