*Job Title: Member Service Representative (MSR)*
*Job Description*We are seeking a dedicated Member Service Representative to respond to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals in a 24/7 high volume, schedule-driven, and structured contact center. You will provide information about our client's products and services, showcasing your knowledge, active listening skills, adaptability to multiple systems, and engagement methods to ensure an optimal member experience and outstanding customer service. This role involves performing transactions or related functions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other accounts. You will also advise members on other products and services that may suit their needs, promoting positive member interaction. *Responsibilities* * Respond to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals in a structured contact center. * Provide information about products and services with knowledge and active listening. * Perform transactions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other accounts. * Advise members on additional products and services suitable for their needs. * Engage in positive member interactions to enhance customer service. *Essential Skills* * Customer service experience * Data entry proficiency * Handling inbound and outbound calls * Experience in a call center * Policy compliance * Ability to manage high volume calls * Adaptability to a very structured environment *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * Experience in call centers, administrative roles, or as a secretary/receptionist * Background in banking, mortgage, or professional environments * Experience in high volume retail environments *Why Work Here?*Join one of the largest credit unions in the world, serving the financial needs of military personnel and their families worldwide. The Contact Center operates 24/7/365, ensuring availability for our members around the world. We prioritize work-life balance and offer flexible shifts to accommodate personal and family needs. Scheduled breaks and meals are structured, and shifts may vary within a one-hour window. You'll be taking back-to-back phone calls for the majority of your shift, with potential four-hour call stretches before breaks. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, VA. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
