Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive team member to support critical operations in a high-volume Data Center environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities * Execute assigned tasks efficiently and escalate issues promptly during high-volume or escalation scenarios. * Apply process knowledge and sound judgment to complete tasks without direct supervision. * Coordinate, prepare, and manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order (PO) receiving and Rack Movement Supervisor (RMS) activities. * Maintain accurate and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging. * Perform inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and support regulatory compliance and certification control audits. * Handle material movement, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management in accordance with standard processes. * Safely destroy data-bearing devices (DBDs) following documented procedures and runbooks. Required Skills * Experience with break/fix activities, shipping and receiving, ticketing systems, inventory management, and logistics. * Familiarity with Data Center operations and processes. Preferred Qualifications * Basic understanding of computer applications and software. * Previous Data Center experience is highly desirable. * Technology certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, or similar) are a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Northlake, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
