Exciting Opportunity at MSK: People Analytics Analyst

At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), we believe that empowering our people through data-driven insights strengthens our mission to end cancer for life. As a People Analytics Analyst, you'll leverage workforce data, visualization, and storytelling to inform strategic decisions and enhance MSK's employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Role Overview

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze HR data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that translate data into actionable insights.

  • Conduct detailed analyses on workforce trends, engagement, and retention to inform decision-making.

  • Build forecasting models and "what-if" analyses to support strategic HR initiatives.

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to understand needs and deliver impactful data-driven recommendations.

  • Lead documentation, validation, and quality assurance for dashboards and reports.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency using data insights.

  • Maintain data integrity, privacy, and compliance across all analytics activities.

  • Contribute to a culture of evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement within HR.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in a related analytical field.

  • Minimum 5 years of analytics experience, with at least 2 years in HR analytics or workforce insights.

  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.

  • Hands-on experience with Workday Report Writer, Dashboards, Discovery Boards (Prism a plus).

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with database querying or statistical tools.

  • Experience with Visier is preferred

  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills for non-technical audiences.

  • Project management capability, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

  • Commitment to confidentiality, data security, and ethical data use.

Additional Information

  • Location: Hybrid, primarily remote with flexibility needed to come on site a few times a month at 633 Third Ave, NY, NY

  • Reporting to Manager, People Analytics

Pay Range: $99,800.00 - $159,800.00 FSLA Status: Exempt
