Your Job

Molex is seeking a Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasury to join our Corporate Finance team in Lisle, IL. This leader will serve as a trusted business partner to Molex's executive team and Koch, Inc., overseeing the company's enterprise-level planning, forecasting, and analysis processes while managing liquidity, capital structure, and financial risk.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and execution, with responsibility for both corporate FP&A and treasury management, delivering financial insights, optimizing cash, and enabling disciplined capital deployment to drive long-term value creation.

What You Will Do

Corporate FP&A Leadership

  • Lead Molex's enterprise financial planning processes, including long-range plan, annual budget, and monthly/quarterly forecasts.
  • Deliver monthly management reports, variance and trend analyses, and financial review packages for the CFO, CEO, and leadership team.
  • Provide concise, insightful commentary on performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Serve as a strategic finance business partner to Molex and Koch senior leadership, including preparation of materials for Leadership Team and Board of Director meetings.
  • Develop financial analyses, scenarios, and models to support strategic decision-making and investment prioritization.
  • Collaborate with shared service functions (IT, HR, Finance, Global sales and marketing, etc.) to analyze and improve spend effectiveness, drive accountability, and ensure financial alignment.
  • Lead forward-looking forecasting and support business decisions with strong analytical and storytelling capabilities.
  • Coach, develop, and mentor members of the FP&A team to strengthen Molex's finance capability.
  • Identify and implement process and reporting improvements that enhance visibility, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence, modeling, valuation analysis, and post-acquisition integration planning.
  • Partner with Corporate Development and Koch M&A teams to assess potential acquisitions, divestitures, and investments, ensuring sound financial assumptions and alignment with Molex's strategic and financial objectives.

Treasury and Capital Structure Management

  • Steward Molex's cash - optimize global liquidity while maintaining adequate flexibility to support operations and credit ratings.
  • Develop visibility into cash balances by region, cash pool, and legal entity; maintain accurate cash forecasts.
  • Partner with Koch Global Treasury and Tax to ensure funds are optimally positioned to support business, M&A, and tax planning needs.
  • Manage relationships with Koch Global Treasury, credit rating agencies, banks, and external financial partners to ensure transparency and best-in-class service.
  • Oversee Molex's bond compliance and lead quarterly bondholder calls, ensuring covenant adherence and investor confidence.
  • Monitor and manage foreign exchange (FX) risk, ensuring strategies and systems are in place to quantify and mitigate exposure.
  • Develop Molex's point of view on optimal capital structure and support capital raising activities as needed.
  • Oversee treasury reporting deliverables, including cash flash, interest expense forecasts, and cash flow forecasts for Molex and Koch Global Treasury.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 15+ years of progressive corporate finance experience, including FP&A and treasury leadership
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, capital markets, and liquidity management
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership and presenting to senior audiences
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence cross-functionally, and drive results in a global environment
  • Willingness to work evenings as needed and communicate cross-culturally as part of an international organization
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • MBA or Advanced degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA or CFA designation
  • Experience in a large, global manufacturing organization
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial principles
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel, SAP, Power BI, and OneStream

For this role, we anticipate paying $200,000-$250,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
