Within Office Services we focus on friendly quick customer service. This position will provide procurement assistance, automotive services, and office support to help ensure operations are conducted efficiently and effectively throughout the Commission. We work as a team to complete a variety of tasks in Office Services such as mail services, procurement, disbursement of supplies, surplus and recycling, automotive services, event setup/teardown, and duplicating/printing services. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Within this role, you will be providing essential administrative and technical support to Office Services. Primary responsibilities include Automotive Liaison, Storeroom Assistant, Surplus and Recycling Coordinator and support to Procurement staff. Secondary roles include support for the Duplicating Shop and Mailroom. Specific responsibilities include: Automotive Liaison
- Coordinating permanently assigned vehicles for Department of General Services (DGS) and PUC employees
- Maintaining PUC fleet by processing paperwork and forms included but not limited to new vehicles, fleet swaps, turn-ins, accidents, and PUC pool vehicles
Procurement Support
- Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of procurement functions utilizing SAP/R3 and Purchasing card procedures
- Assisting the Procurement Officer and Specialist in procurement functions to process supply orders and services for the Commission
Storeroom Assistant
- Maintaining the storeroom of supplies for distribution
Surplus and Recycling Coordinator
- Processing items for surplus using DGS PASS system
Event Services
- Assisting in setting up and resetting equipment and furniture for PUC events
Mailroom Assistant
- Serving as backup for providing mail and messenger services to the Commission
- Processing a variety of mail by utilizing a mail machine, folder inserter, and other equipment
- Maintaining a database of e-certified signatures and a spreadsheet of returned mail
Duplicating Assistant
- Serving as backup in the duplicating shop by utilizing copiers, binding, cutter, and folder inserter equipment
- Monitoring email resource account for request
Additional Duties
- Assisting with pulling and delivery of supplies
- Helping to transport Executive staff state vehicles for service or cleaning when needed
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: Part-time work from home (telework) may be a potential feature of this position. The successful candidate is required to report to the headquarters worksite daily, unless the employee meets eligibility requirements and telework has been approved. Management may discontinue any telework arrangement at any time, for any reason. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office.
- To be eligible to participate in telework, the employee's alternate (telework) worksite must meet the following requirements:
- Within a reasonable travel distance of headquarters; and
- Within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
