"I can succeed as a Paid Media Senior Specialist at Capital Group.

As the Paid Media Senior Specialist on the Media Strategy team, you will play a key role in shaping and executing Capital Group's paid media strategy across global markets. You will combine deep programmatic expertise with a strategic mindset to plan, evaluate, and optimize campaigns that connect with our audiences and deliver measurable business results.

You'll manage a portfolio that includes programmatic, direct publishers, podcasts, out-of-home, and digital video channels, developing thoughtful, insight-driven programs that align with marketing and business priorities. Working closely with internal marketing leads, agencies, and media partners, you'll bring strategic rigor, analytical depth, and creative problem-solving to every stage of the campaign process-from planning and activation to performance reporting and optimization.

This role is ideal for someone who loves data, storytelling through analytics, and building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors. You'll help evolve how Capital Group approaches paid media by ensuring our investments drive awareness, engagement, and conversion outcomes across channels and formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage integrated paid media strategies across programmatic, direct publisher, audio, podcast, OOH, digital video, and social platforms, ensuring alignment with business and marketing goals.

  • Partner with internal marketing leads to understand business objectives, target audiences, and campaign priorities, translating them into actionable media plans.

  • Evaluate and negotiate direct publisher and platform partnerships to expand Capital Group's media presence and pilot new opportunities across emerging channels.

  • Oversee campaign implementation and optimization across platforms such as DV360, LinkedIn, Meta, and Google Ads, ensuring quality, compliance, and performance excellence.

  • Lead media performance measurement and reporting, using data to distill insights and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with analytics and research teams to refine KPIs, improve attribution, and strengthen performance frameworks across all channels.

  • Stay up to date on evolving media trends-including programmatic, video, audio, and OOH-to inform innovation and best practices.

  • Contribute to building a center of excellence for paid media by sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and advancing cross-channel integration.

I am the person Capital Group is looking for.

  • I hold a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related fields.

  • I bring 5-7+ years of experience in paid media strategy and activation across programmatic, direct publisher, and emerging channels such as podcasts, audio, OOH, and digital video.

  • I have a strong foundation in media planning and evaluation, with the ability to connect campaign results to broader business goals.

  • I'm fluent in analytics and optimization, comfortable using data to refine strategies and tell compelling performance stories.

  • I have hands-on experience with platforms such as DV360, SA360, Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta, and familiarity with analytics tools like Adobe Analytics.

  • I'm a confident communicator who can collaborate across teams, present insights clearly, and build strong relationships with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

  • I'm curious, detail-oriented, and proactive-always looking for ways to test new approaches, improve performance, and bring strategic thinking to media planning.
