As a Security Officer - Access Control Armed in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entry points, conduct regular patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed position, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and attention to detail. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following company and site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Work in collaboration with property management and/or emergency services as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence at access points and throughout the location to provide a sense of security-related support for tenants, guests, and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
