The Senior Midstream Business Development Professional, working under limited supervision, is responsible for building long-term business partnerships by establishing rapport with potential partners and participating in negotiation discussions for favorable terms. The role leverages market insights for strategic direction and tracks business development and M&A metrics to execute initiatives. The role leverages extensive networks of deal professionals to unlock "off-market" prospects and new midstream partnerships, maintains deep relationships with the energy financial community to stay ahead of M&A trends and gathers competitive M&A intelligence to inform decision-making. The role also mentors professionals, fosters effective working connections, and actively identifies opportunities for continuous improvement within the business development function. This role focuses on midstream, power, and other infrastructure opportunities.

* Conducts in-depth analyses of oil and gas market trends, competitor landscapes, and customer needs to pinpoint high-potential opportunities and inform strategic midstream business expansion.

* Drives organic and inorganic growth by formulating multi-year market strategies, securing executive buy-in and working across the organization to execute.

* Participates in negotiation discussions with clients as well as in M&A transaction teams, driving execution through due diligence.

* Sources and tracks key business development and M&A metrics, analyzes campaign effectiveness, and identifies areas for improvement, driving data-driven decisions and optimizing resource allocation.

* Develops and maintains external relationships of existing or potential partners in the midstream and infrastructure space. This may include monitoring existing joint ventures/partnerships as well as working with partners to maximize the value of the investment.

* Carries out complex business development projects independently, leads change efforts, and actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives, demonstrating skill in mentoring and influencing.

* Establishes effective relationships, achieves strategic results using business acumen, and actively remediates data quality issues, optimizing problem-solving through multi-discipline knowledge.

* Identifies, diagnoses, and recommends solutions to complex business development problems, coordinates assignments across functional areas, and demonstrates functional expertise, contributing to company goals and decision-making.

Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Land Management, Engineering, Business or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.

Experience:
* 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in areas such as Business Development, Energy Marketing, Land Management, Geosciences, Engineering, Asset Management, Venture Capital, Strategy and Growth or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
