Equipment Lead

Job Title: Equipment lead

Reports to: Equipment Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Department: Operations

Summary: Ensure the flights scheduled for the shift are prepared on a timely manner and communicate to operations supervisor of any irregularities to find solution. Pack trolleys with airline equipment in accordance with individual airline specifications to meet KDT schedule. Maintain clean and orderly working areas and observe safety regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure employees are complying with all HACCP and Flying Food Group sanitation and proper food handling policies and procedures.
  • Manage employees in the shift to ensure everyone is complying with FFG rules and regulations.
  • Ensure all liquor and beverage are packed in trolley to exact diagrams for drawer configuration and quantity of consumables.
  • Maintain organization of products in storage rooms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by unit Supervisor


  • Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Use liquor and beverage and materials properly.
  • Set up international / domestic equipment according to the international / domestic account diagram
  • Complete requisitions in the storeroom and warehouse based on the needs of equipment / Liquor dept
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of working areas as well as accounts assigned
  • Assists will schedule and job assignments and delegation
  • Other duties assigned



Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, abilities and other job related attributes needed to perform the job at a satisfactory level. .

  • Language Ability - Able to communicate with coworkers and supervisors. Recognize differences between words and numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Able to read the codes on plates to facilitate communication to warehouse representatives.
  • Math Ability - Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Manual Dexterity - Able to work with hands to unpack and stock shelves or bins
  • Must have good attendance record and be on time.
  • Ensure steps for safe and clean operation of all machinery.
  • Responsible for quality control of all shifts.
  • Promotes a safe working place to prevent accidents to self and coworkers.
  • Immediately investigates, document and reports all on the job accidents following company safety procedures.
  • Produce required shift reports/documentation
  • Communicate all related matters to shift personnel with daily debriefings.
  • Must be able to pull, push and lift up to 50lbs
