We are a mission partner supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, and Civil space customers. We develop complex, radiation effects mitigated, designs that balance competing requirements in modern space programs, delivering cutting-edge solutions that enable our customers to achieve more in space.

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Programs will directly manage one or more flight programs, ensuring customer satisfaction, execution to cost and schedule, risk management, and deliver high quality products. They will coordinate with key functional areas such as Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Contracts & Finance to ensure effective planning and execution of their programs. They will mentor other PMO members and operate as part of a team to ensure overall success of the business unit.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cost, schedule, risk management and customer interface
  • Working alongside a Lead Systems Engineer who will manage technical execution
  • Mentoring of other PMs
  • Ability to support travel or off-site work, as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 9+ years, or graduate degree and 7+ years, of applicable experience
  • PMP Certification, or the ability to obtain within 6-months of starting employment
  • Experience in managing government programs of a technical nature including FAR-based contracts with multiple CLINs
  • Financial management and planning experience
  • Working knowledge of Government contract types (including OTA and FAR based)
  • Experience managing product development programs, including design, development, procurement, prototype and production elements
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering
  • Space electronic systems experience
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management
