As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This post requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and demonstrate Allied Universal's commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual situations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within the retail environment to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
• Collaborate with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and provide support during incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
