Security Guard - Residential Patrol

As a Security Guard - Residential Patrol in Wyandanch, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout residential locations. Your visible presence and attentive approach will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while you respond to incidents and provide outstanding customer service to residents and guests. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist residents and visitors by providing information and guidance as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or hazards observed during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
