Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to provide reassurance, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help minimize disruptions at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for and report any irregularities, such as suspicious activity, property damage, or equipment malfunctions, in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and any security-related observations throughout the shift.
• Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
