Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Bloomington, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a commercial real estate location. You will interact with visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service while addressing security-related concerns. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members, site personnel, and local authorities when necessary.
• Follow all company and site-specific protocols to support a secure environment for tenants, employees, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
