About Reingold

Reingold is a full-service marketing and creative firm in Alexandria, Virginia. For more than 40 years, we've been driven by a simple mission: to help organizations - whether in the government, nonprofit, or business sector - as they strive to make the world a better place. We hire top-notch talent to develop and launch compelling, inventive communications campaigns, leveraging the latest technology and digital media strategies that enable our clients to meet their audiences where they are.

We're proud to say we've built a team of curious, passionate pros - from marketers and tech wizards to designers and strategists - who love what they do and bring their A-game every day. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We believe great ideas come from collaboration, humor, and a little bit of fun along the way.

When you work at Reingold, you get more than a job, you get a community. We offer competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, a dynamic hybrid work environment, a vibrant workplace and growth opportunities in a variety of specialty areas. That means when we find great people (and they find us), they stick around for the long term.

That's where you come in. We're looking for an HR pro to keep our people systems accurate, our processes efficient and compliant, and our team informed and supported. You will develop and coordinate internal initiatives and events that ensure employees not only have a smooth experience across the lifecycle, but also have opportunities to grow and contribute to the firm's success. This role is ideal for you if you want to work across many HR functional areas and collaborate with a variety of internal teams, and you are detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about the employee experience.

This is a hybrid role, requiring at least two days per week on site at Reingold's headquarters in Alexandria, VA. The desired start date is January 12, 2026.

Here's the work you'll do:

  • Coordinate employee communications in collaboration with the internal communications team, and contribute to HR content creation ensuring materials are up to date and accessible (presentations, intranet updates, surveys, policy documents).
  • In partnership with internal teams, contribute to development of programming for internal events and learning and development activities, including coordinating event logistics.
  • Support employee lifecycle activities including benefits, leave of absence, performance accountability, engagement surveys, and more.
  • Identify opportunities and create solutions to streamline HR processes and promote scalability.
  • Support the administration of internal HR policies and procedures, as well as HR compliance, including federal/state reporting, audits, and documentation.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support, such as managing HR mail distribution, processing employment verifications and unemployment claims, and completing other essential HR operational tasks.
  • Run and prepare reports; analyze data to make recommendations and inform departmental decision making.
  • Use your strong understanding of HR principles and practices to support the day-to-day functions of the HR department and its initiatives.
  • Work to understand the firm's brand, culture, and client work, as well as each department's capabilities.
  • Infuse all HR activities with Reingold's employer brand and core values.
  • Handle sensitive information appropriately and ethically.
