Join a team of EDI professionals supporting our Global Automotive EDI Business

What the role offers:

• Leadership skills
• Team and/or project management
• Problem solving both technical and business problems
• Written and verbal communications skills, with proven ability to work directly with customers at both the technical and business level
• Working in the EDI VAN business processes
• Understanding Communication Protocols and functionality
• Self-manage assigned tasks and switching between multiple assignments as priorities change.
• Data Analysis
• Analysis of Trading Partner networks and TP-specific EDI requirements and capabilities
• Deployment of EDI solutions involving large Trading Partner network
  

What you need to succeed:

• 3-5+ years' experience creating and deploying EDI solutions involving data transformation, including:
• Experience with Analysis of non-EDI back-end system data formats.
• Experience developing EDI mapping specifications
• Experience developing EDI implementation guidelines
• Creation of test cases and test plans
• Involvement in pre-production testing of EDI solutions with customers and Trading Partners (TPs).
• Detailed knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, VDA) for manufacturing, direct materials replenishment, and indirect purchasing
• Experience with automotive EDI transactions for materials replenishment (830/DELFOR, 862/DELJIT, 856/DESADV) is required
• Knowledge of XML standards and XML document development is highly desirable.
• Experience with financial (810/INVOIC, 820, 821) transactions is highly desirable.
• Experience with logistics-related EDI transactions is highly desirable
• Experience with EDI translation tools is highly desirable
• Experience creating and updating EDI maps is a big plus.
