Security Guard - Campus Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Campus Patrol Driver in Newberry, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned educational locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and regular patrols. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain a secure environment within the education location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any unusual incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity encountered during patrols or while on post.
• Work collaboratively with campus personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and support a positive campus atmosphere.
• Remain alert to any potential hazards or emergencies and follow established protocols for response and communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
