The Role and Team

We are seeking an experienced Product Leader to be responsible for our integration product strategy for Medallia's Experience Platform. This role will be responsible for defining and executing the roadmap for further strengthening Medallia's product to product integrations, seamlessly incorporating current and future acquisition/partner offerings intoMedallia Experience Cloud (MEC), and how our integration tooling evolves to meet the needs of our customers and the market. You will work cross-functionally across Engineering, Partnerships and Alliances, Architecture, Professional Services, and other functions while executing the technical and business strategy for Medallia's integration capabilities. A key area of emphasis is for this leader to rapidly execute on the team's priorities and be hands-on in driving timely and measurable progress with high intensity.

Our Platform ingests billions of records (surveys, calls, conversations, cases, and more) while generating meaningful insights and actions for our customers. Operating at this scale, we drive our product priorities to deliver on 3 key objectives: a) Unifying our product capabilities (including acquisitions and partner integrations) to continue to help our customers use the full spectrum of our tools, b) streamline our offering and drive high operational efficiency, and c) unlock greater customer ROI by meaningfully using data and AI to solve key business problems and use-cases in a horizontal and reusable way. The Platform Product Team effectively balances business and technology needs in meeting these objectives and acts as the champion for both customers and internal users.

This is a highly strategic role that sits at the intersection of platform architecture, acquisition unification, and admin and developer experience. You will directly impact how Medallia becomes the central hub for customer experience data and functionality across the enterprise technology stack.


Responsibilities

Key Areas of Focus

  • Own Integration Product Strategy: Work with multiple stakeholders cross-functionally to assist in our strategic thinking that guides our roadmap.
  • Execute Integration Roadmap: Turn our comprehensive integration strategy into a long-term roadmap and manage the execution of that roadmap.
  • Modernize our Platform: Evolve our existing capabilities and release new ones to support foundational work that is core to our business strategy.

Core Product Areas

  • Product-to-Product Integrations: Standardize integration patterns and data exchange across Medallia products and acquisitions
  • Core Platform Capabilities: Manage and improve the primary tools that ingest and export data from our Experience Platform.
  • API tooling and support: Standardize our wide range of internal and external APIs and develop governance tools and policies.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with alliances, professional services, and go-to-market teams
  • Technical Collaboration: Work with engineering and architecture teams to define technical standards
  • Business Impact: Drive measurable revenue impact through integration portfolio growth

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management or equivalent product solution and architecture experience in enterprise SaaS platforms including:
    • Experience with major enterprise SaaS platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Adobe) and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure)
    • Enterprise integration and automation platforms (i.e. iPass, ETL/ELT, Data Pipelines)
  • At least 5 years experience focused on integrations, APIs, or platform products including:
    • Modern API architecture, including REST APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns
  • Sound understanding of Integration and API frameworks including API gateways, patterns (east-west/north-south), API productization and monetization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Experience Management Platform experienceFamiliarity with modern development methodologies and tools (Agile, Jira, Productboard)
  • Proven track record of building and scaling integrations capabilities with measurable business impact
  • Experience developing platform strategies that balance extensibility with coherence
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives across multiple departments and stakeholders
  • Experience working in global, distributed teams with offshore development partnerships

Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $275,000. This position is bonus eligible. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
