POSITION MISSION

This position will significantly contribute to a team that enables Bagel Brands to make faster, more innovative, and more scalable decision-making to compete and win in our ever-changing retail market.

The Digital Solution team is responsible for implementing Mobile App, Web App, and the backend for Bagel Brands. As a team member, you will be responsible for working with various cross-functional teams, collecting requirements, and creating roadmaps for Digital projects/products.

• Base Salary Range: $155,000 annually
• Bonus: 15% annual incentive target
• Long-Term Incentive (LTI): $20,000

ROLE-SPECIFIC ABILITIES

• Lead technical strategy and architectural direction for iOS and Android applications.
• Provide long term guidance to leadership and articulate complex technical concepts.
• Collaborate closely with stake holders, design and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Take end to end ownership of the mobile development lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of architecture patterns, performance optimizations and security best practices.
• Strong experience in Swift, UiKit/SwiftUI, Kotlin, Compose and Java.
• Solid understanding of CICD pipelines, unit test strategy, instrumentation and crash analysis.
• Track record of mentoring engineers, providing thoughtful code reviews, and fostering technical growth.

EDUCATION - TRAINING - EXPERIENCE

Required:

• BA/BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering Technical Communications or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Should be able to work with cross functionals teams on architecture design and should be hands-on.
• Conduct code reviews and work on the discovery and maintenance of existing applications
• Mentor junior developers and should have a solid understanding of the design principles
• Implementation of security and data protection (PCI)
• Should be able to work in a fast-paced agile environment and be willing to architect complex systems.
• Must demonstrate the ability to design and hands-on develop large-scale systems.

Highly Desired:

• Preferred experience with React Native and JavaScript/Typescript.

Please Note: The range provided below encompasses a wide range of Bagel Brands roles. The specific salary for this role is $155,000/yr
