Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

This role is part of Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE), supporting Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. The team fosters innovation and drives engineering workflows of the future, shared solutions and standards, simplicity and lower costs, and manufacturable design.

This role supports Blue Origin's Product Engineering team by managing our comprehensive Global Software Portfolio (GSP) and Global Application Catalog (GAC) that enable our teams to design, build, and analyze spacecraft systems. You'll be instrumental in maintaining the engineering tools baseline, ensuring our engineering teams have access to approved, supported tools while maintaining data quality and supporting vendor relationship management across technical domains.

As part of our Engineering Tool Architecture organization, you'll serve as the administrator for engineering tool data management, license tracking, and vendor relationship support spanning PLM, CAD, CFD, structural analysis, and specialized engineering applications. This role requires both technical understanding and meticulous attention to data quality to support tool rationalization efforts, deprecation planning, and vendor coordination while ensuring compliance and operational continuity.

We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, data management skills, and dedication to operational excellence to positively impact our engineering capabilities. Passion for our mission and vision is required!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • GSP Data Quality Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for 100+ GSP contracts such as licenses, renewal dates, contact information, utilization metrics, and contract performance data

  • Portfolio Administration: Support administration of GSP contracts across engineering domains such as mechanical CAD, CFD, structural analysis, systems engineering, and specialized tools

  • Deprecation Planning Leadership: Lead the deprecation plan development by providing accurate data analysis, tool rationalization metrics, stakeholder coordination with program and domain leads, and migration timeline management

  • Procurement Support: Support software procurement personnel with Procurement Service Desk (PSD) processes, PR/PO information validation, contract data verification, and procurement documentation coordination

  • Vendor Relationship Support: Provide administrative and coordination support for vendor relationships, meeting scheduling, contract documentation, technical support request tracking, and vendor contact management

  • GAC Data Integrity: Maintain and update the Global Application Catalog to ensure accurate tool status, availability, approval levels, and user access information

  • License Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and maintain accurate records of software utilization across all engineering domains and generate performance dashboards for optimization decisions

  • ETSP Administration: Coordinate administrative aspects of the Engineering Tool Support Process for new tool requests, maintaining accurate tracking, documentation, and stakeholder communication throughout the evaluation cycle

  • Business Intelligence Support: Generate utilization reports, cost analysis, trending data, and ROI metrics to support business case development and vendor negotiations led by management

  • Point Solutions Tracking: Maintain evaluation pipeline data for emerging tools, coordinate documentation requirements, track transition status from evaluation to baseline, and manage proof-of-concept logistics

  • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure GSP records meet audit requirements, maintain documentation for export control compliance, and support governance reporting and regulatory reviews

  • Stakeholder Data Coordination: Work with domain POCs to validate tool information, usage data, and requirements across mechanical design, CFD, structural analysis, and other technical areas

  • Migration Data Support: Maintain accurate migration tracking for tools transitioning from Legacy status, coordinate data requirements, support transition documentation, and manage user communication during migrations

  • Cross-Program Analysis: Analyze tool requirements and usage patterns across programs to identify consolidation opportunities and prevent duplicative licensing

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong data management skills with experience maintaining complex databases, spreadsheets, or enterprise systems

  • Excellent attention to detail for maintaining accurate records across multiple data sources and stakeholder inputs

  • Experience with technical software environments and understanding of software licensing concepts

  • Strong analytical skills for data validation, trending analysis, and report generation

  • Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and maintain data quality standards

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for data reporting and stakeholder coordination

  • Experience with process documentation and maintaining standardized data collection procedures

  • Ability to work independently while supporting management-led vendor and contract activities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of contract administration, procurement processes, or vendor coordination support

  • Familiarity with engineering environments and understanding of technical tool workflows

  • Experience supporting change management or migration projects with strong data tracking requirements
