Job Summary (Primary function)

The Staff Scientist, DMB is primarily responsible for DMPK support of discovery and/or development projects regarding in vivo pharmacokinetics studies. This will involve preparing doses for, scheduling, and coordinating in vivo pharmacokinetics studies as well as generic lab functions.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities):

* Coordination of discovery in vivo pharmacokinetic studies.

o Preparing dose formulations for in vivo studies.

o Prepare Discovery PK Study Request forms, Dose Preparation sheets and review protocols for contracted studies.

o Communicate and manage logistics with CRO partners to schedule large species studies

* Perform general lab functions, preparing buffers, organizing test articles, ordering consumable supplies, etc.

* With appropriate supervision, analyze data, record data, prepare summary documents and report data as needed.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

* Associate or bachelor's degree in biology, Life Science, or related discipline.

* 1 - 5 years of related laboratory experience in pharmaceutical companies or CROs.

* Competency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

* Experience operating analytical balances and manual pipettes.

* Demonstrate attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently.

* Ability to effectively multi-task
