Job Description




As a Security Officer - Residential Entry Control in Lake Geneva, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a residential community. Your visible presence and exceptional customer service skills will create a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests. At this location, you will engage with the community, use technology to support your duties, and demonstrate our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for residents and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues within the location.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required, following established protocols.
  • Maintain visibility throughout the residential area to help to deter unauthorized individuals and promote a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
