Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000/yr
up to 10% annual bonus
We are seeking an Health, Safety and Environment Manager Manager to lead the development, implementation, and ownership of a proactive Health, Safety & Environment program for a tech-industry client. This role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-driven safety professional who enjoys influencing stakeholders, building programs, and fostering a collaborative onsite culture.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee HSE programs, playbooks, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the account.
- Promote a positive, proactive safety culture and engage cross-functional teams through influence and partnership.
- Manage regulatory compliance, conduct risk assessments, and implement strategies to reduce operational and safety risks.
- Monitor incident trends and provide recommendations for prevention and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to identify concerns, communicate findings, and drive corrective actions.
- Serve as a project-oriented leader-focused on program strategy.
- Model values and support an open, collaborative, in-person culture.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of general industry health & safety experience (non-hazardous, non-construction environment, experience in tech industry highly preferred)
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- OSHA 30 required; CSP or ASP preferred
- Strong program management skills with experience developing and owning HSE initiatives
- Program ownership, development, implementation around HSE program
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence, guide, and present sensitive information confidently.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
