Security Officer - Driving Required

As a Security Officer - Substation Patrol Driver in Homer City, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within utility locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and visitor management procedures as outlined by site policies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents and/or observations.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related objectives in the utilities environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
