Security Officer - Armed Patrol Lead

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Lead in Emporia, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents at the assigned location. This role requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication, reflecting our values of reliability, agility, and integrity while working closely with others in a caring, people-first environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
