As a Patrol Unarmed Officer within a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and support the healthcare facility's operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of facility policies to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
