As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to personnel and visitors.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete detailed incident and activity reports as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Adhere to all firearms handling and use policies in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuff, pepper spray, and/or baton certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
