Genesis10 is currently seeking a Forecaster with our client located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for managing the work streams and the resources that affect how appointments are being offered Create and maintain forecast models for the Network workforce, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from multiple sources Implementation of the Forecast System Detail forecast modeling Lead the dialogue for their respective markets and products team Create statistical forecast in the Forecasting Tool, gather, analyze and validate data, execute statistical modeling and data, review resulting statistical forecast model and plan Apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting Summarize/aggregate statistical forecasts Recommend adjustments for operational forecasts Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process Prepare relevant material to facilitate research and discussion Provide input to volume planning (Latest estimates / annual process) Facilitate and manage demand planning/customer meetings Achieve consensus with the business side and the demand chain Maintain demand planning system and Forecast Tool Enter and modify data and ensure the correctness of data Monitor trends in forecast error Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process Requirements: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with all areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process Good facilitation skills Strong analytical, organizational, decision making and presentation skills Able to prioritize work and handle multiple issues concurrently Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to work in a consultative manner with others, i.e. establish rapport, interview / fact-find, present options / recommend solutions, follow-up and customer focused behavior Previous experience in a multi-tasking, result oriented position in a deadline focused department Pay range: $20.00 - $23.00 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
