Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Mall Rounds Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence. This primarily driving post allows you to interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with both guests and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activities and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons within the location.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and local authorities as needed for security-related matters.
• Assist with access control and/or crowd management as required within the retail and mall environment.
• Support emergency response activities and provide assistance to customers and staff during incidents or evacuations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
