Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Bike Patrol Government in Homestead, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through visible patrols and engagement with the community. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential security-related threats.
  • Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal protocols regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or a college degree is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
