Job Title: Payroll Accountant

Location(s): Orlando, FL

Position Overview
The Payroll Accountant is responsible for proactive collaboration with vendor points of contact and key Finance business partners. This role is accountable to ensure consistent, timely, and high-quality business outcomes.

• Prepares and reconciles payroll related accounting entries.
• Prepares and maintains inter-company billing for submission to accounting.
• Provide the necessary reports associated with payroll to finance.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of various payroll reports and analyses to customers and management.
• Effectively identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to resolve.
• Coordinate any new benefit plans implementation or systems and collaborates with HRIS, payroll, and vendors to support Benefit Plan Designs.
• Maintain strong knowledge of management systems and process flows to support vendors and payroll interfaces..

• 5+ years of experience in payroll accounting.
• Solid understanding of payroll and benefit accounting.
• Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills to evaluate problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments with deadlines.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to establish solid working relationships.
• Solid follow up and follow through skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate to expert experience in Excel a must.
