Job Description Summary:
The RN provides patient-centered nursing care and administers infusion therapies for individuals with autoimmune and inflammatory conditions in an outpatient rheumatology clinic.
Key Performance Areas:
Administer biologics, IV medications, and supportive infusions per provider orders and safety protocols. Perform pre-infusion assessments, start peripheral IVs, and monitor for adverse reactions. Provide patient education on infusion medications, side effects, and chronic disease management. Collaborate with rheumatologists, APPs, pharmacists, and support staff to coordinate patient care. Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EMR. Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control, and regulatory requirements.

Certifications/Licenses:
- Unencumbered RN License in state of employment or multi-state license
- Current BLS certifications
- Valid Driver's License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed
Previous Experience (including minimum years of experience):
- Prior rheumatology or autoimmune disease experience is a plus.
- Strong IV skills and ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and patient education abilities.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, team-focused approach.

- Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.

Travel: <25%
Standard Core Workdays/Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Occasional overtime may be required, and weekend shifts based on location hours and operational needs.
