Overview

The Thin Film Operator (Assembler) will perform kitting and inventory control of substrates and run other Thin Film processes. The role includes the use of hand tools, automated pick-and-places, microscopes, and machines.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Perform kitting of substrates and small parts onto gel packs using tweezers and vacuum wands.
  • Load and unload substrates from an automated pick-and-place machine.
  • Physically count substrates and confirm quantities are accurate.
  • Visually inspect kitted substrates and confirm the correct parts have been kitted.
  • Inspection may be performed under a microscope.
  • Clean, stage, and organize substrates, gel packs, and waffle packs on staging shelves.
  • Understand and follow written and verbal work instructions.
  • Fill out logs and operation sheets.
  • Run other Thin Film processes and machines as requested by the supervisor.

This is a day shift position (5:00 am to 1:30 pm).


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to use small hand-tools such as tweezers and microscope
  • Basic computer skills for time charging
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)

Preferred Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to perform basic calculations.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and participate in problem-solving when process and quality issues come up.

Hourly Range: $19.23 - $24.03. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
