About the Job.

JPI has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Lead to join our Supply Chain team located in Dallas, TX.

The Supply Chain Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing the end-to-end submittal and material procurement coordination process across active projects.

This role performs the day-to-day operational work required to ensure submittals, shop drawings, product data, and material procurement activities are properly requested, tracked, routed, approved, and distributed in alignment with the project schedule.

The Specialist supports procurement readiness and schedule reliability by ensuring all items are accurately statused against the OPC schedule and escalated when risks arise.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Submittal Management

  • Request required submittals from subcontractors and vendors in accordance with contract documents and project schedules.
  • Upload, log, and route submittals in Procore, ensuring correct workflows and reviewers are assigned.
  • Track revisions, resubmittals, and approvals through final disposition.
  • Coordinate procurement-related submittals tied to material release and purchase order readiness.
  • Confirm vendor lead times, production schedules, and delivery sequencing.
  • Identify long-lead and critical materials early.

OPC Schedule Alignment

  • Status submittals and material procurement items against the OPC schedule.
  • Maintain accurate trackers reflecting approval progress and material readiness.
  • Identify delays or risks impacting schedule milestones and escalate accordingly.

Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with Technical, DFX, Commercial, and Execution teams to align submittals with project needs.
  • Distribute approved submittals and shop drawings to all required stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation practices.
  • Communicate effectively with Offshore team.

Technology and Software Proficiency

  • Procore
  • Sage
  • Airtable
  • Microsoft Suite

Expectations

  • Act as a representative and advocate of JPI's culture and guiding principles.
  • Maintain full-time, in-person collaboration (Monday-Friday).
  • Demonstrate strong daily collaboration with project, field, and corporate teams.

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in construction operations, procurement, or submittal coordination.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred Proficiency in one or more of these software applications namely in Procore, Sage, Airtable, and Microsoft Suite.
