OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

Opening for a full-time Stores Supervisor, Merchandising for lululemon in The University Store. This position
reports to the Deputy General Manager, Retail Stores and works directly with the clothing supervisor. The Stores
Supervisor, Merchandising is responsible for both front-end activities (including assisting customers, operating a
cash terminal, and merchandising products) and back-end duties (including entering and processing product
transfers and managing inventory)

Responsibilities
Manages the lululemon showcase, including merchandising, ordering transfers, pricing, displaying, selling, and
maintaining inventory. Communicate with the vendor to obtain product knowledge and specifications to enhance
sales of the lululemon brand and offer optimal customer service to guests.

Work closely with the buying team to determine merchandise to carry or discontinue based on in-store sales
history and market trends. Research customer preference and vendor terms. Recommend and initiate marketing,
advertising, and promotional activities. Establish and maintain effective customer relations.

Determine stock requirements and prepare specifications for merchandise purchases, transfer merchandise as
needed from the distribution center, ensure that adequate quantities of merchandise are ordered from the
distribution center on a timely basis according to procedures, monitor the receiving of products, and maintain
inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels.

Operate a point-of-sale case register as needed, processing cash and non-cash transactions.
Coordinate day-to-day operations of the lululemon showcase to ensure retail fixtures are properly arranged,
sized, and grouped according to store standards. Evaluate inventory movement and advise management of
recommendations to properly display, move products to different locations, etc.

Assist in receiving incoming merchandise transfers, verify packing slips for accuracy of quantities received, and
ensure that all UPCs are properly linked in the NetSuite system and all items are priced correctly.
Determine appropriate stock levels for the lululemon showcase and order sufficient quantities of merchandise in a
timely manner to ensure adequate inventory levels.

Attend lululemon training sessions, both in-person and online. Assist in training Stores staff and student
employees on proper sales techniques and product specifications related to lululemon products.
Perform monthly cycle counts and ensure that inventory is kept in accurate quantities to meet customer needs
and expectations.

Review and research negative inventory reports and make necessary inventory
adjustments to correct inventory on hands. Confer with Stores' management on any inventory issues. Make
recommendations to the Stores' management to ensure resolutions are communicated and acted upon
related to all inventory issues.

Perform various routine clerical functions in recording and reporting information required for accurate and
up-to-date departmental records; process incoming and outgoing forms and documents according to operating
procedures; monitor and participate in merchandise inventories.

Perform inventories as scheduled; take counts of sale, reduced, damaged, and discounted merchandise; note
markdown of merchandise and dispose of merchandise according to procedures.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training:

Requires a high school diploma. Some college preferred. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Experience:

One to three years of retail sales and operational experience in a high-end,
high-volume retail operation. Must have a proven successful retail track
record. Prefer retail supervisory experience.

Skills:

* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with close
attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse and close
working team in a fast-paced setting.
* Quick learner with demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $19.15 to USD $29.37.
