As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk Monitor in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors. Your visible presence and exceptional customer service will be key in creating a secure atmosphere. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you support the overall security-related operations and uphold our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control.
• Provide customer service to individuals at the location by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
• Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to help maintain a secure environment.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
