This is a hybrid role, 2 days on site - Tuesday and Thursday in Vernon, NY Job Summary: The Analyst, Supply Chain Data and Reporting develops, builds, maintains, and improves business intelligence tools, examining and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Performs rigorous data analysis to deliver actionable insights, enhance decision-making, and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, the role explores dynamic technologies, automation, and advanced analytics, effectively communicating findings and providing appropriate visibility to stakeholders, positively impacting cost savings and process improvement initiatives. Works with multiple sources of data within Supply Chain and Operations with a focus on Transportation and Warehousing. This role will also assist in projects related to Hood's technology and system upgrades as required through testing of reporting and data integrity as well as end user training through any system transitions, integration of systems and/or system upgrades. Essential Duties Responsibilities: Data and Systems Management * Data Management: Ensure enterprise data integrity in reporting for all areas and stakeholders. * Error Resolution & Troubleshooting: Leverage subject matter expertise to resolve data quality errors and support issue resolution. * Integration & Alignment: Work cross functionally with Data Warehouse team, process improvement, and SMEs as needed to support interim state reporting and end state reporting initiatives. * Testing Support: Engage with and provide testing and data validation and system readiness as needed. Includes all phases of SIT, UAT and any system upgrades in multiple areas to meet business requirements. * Ensure the alignment of data between S4 and other systems through any transition of data changes. * Training support as required through any system upgrades or transitions. Data Visualization and Report Development * Understand applications/systems footprint and data elements needed to support Operations and Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting needs. * Design/build/utilize relational databases and system integrations to secure needed data. Adhere to a report governance / approval process, ensuring these solutions are intuitive, scalable, and secure, providing long-term value to end users. * Curate and organize data from different data sources. * Maintain process to manage change requests to reports, dashboards and visualizations. * Design and develop interactive data visualizations and report using tools such as Power Query and Power BI. * Leverage Automation and standardization to automate processes and drive efficiency, accuracy, & cost savings. * Ensure adherence to best practices, including principles of clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness. * Understand requirements to establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of reporting initiatives, continuously optimizing performance and outcomes. Stakeholder Engagement * Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and requirements, offering solutions and driving process improvement. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects, defining requirements with stakeholders and ensuring deliverables can be met within project scope timeline and budget. * Continuous Improvement: Work with stakeholders and cross functionally to identify Continuous Improvement opportunities in data processes via standardization, automation, report consolidation, etc. User Training & Documentation - Provide hands-on training on tools / reports / processes, helping users to gain confidence in using the solutions developed. Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, workflows, and systems to support onboarding, troubleshooting, and future development efforts. * Provide end-to-end support for all reporting, dashboards and all relevant data integrations as required, ensuring they remain user-friendly and secure. * User Training & Documentation - Provide hands-on training on tools / reports / processes, helping users to gain confidence in using the solutions developed. Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, workflows, and systems to support onboarding, troubleshooting, and future development efforts. * Some travel required. Education and Experience * BA/BS degree with 5+ years of experience or equivalent education/experience. * Master's Degree Preferred * Experience with SQL is a plus. * Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, or other ERP systems is a plus. * Experience in developing and maintaining reports and dashboards. * Strong analytical ability to review data and see relationships and patterns. * Proficient in PC applications, including advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel. * Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain business processes and operational knowledge.
