What you'll do

We are seeking a Senior Security Technical Program Manager to drive security strategy and program execution across our AI and data ecosystem. In this role, you will lead initiatives that secure AI development pipelines, enable safe adoption of AI tools, and mitigate risks from adversarial or malicious use of AI. You will also oversee data security programs focused on protecting sensitive data, ensuring proper governance, and enabling secure access. Partnering with Engineering, Product, Security, Legal, IT, and Compliance teams, you will define and deliver programs that safeguard AI models, data, and AI-enabled platforms, bridging program delivery, risk management, and emerging AI security practices.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Sr. Manager, Security Product Management.

Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of data and AI security programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to implement secure model development practices, including secure training pipelines, data governance, and model monitoring

  • Operationalize governance and guardrails for AI tool adoption, ensuring safe and compliant use across the organization

  • Drive data security programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and resilience in how data is collected, stored, processed, and leveraged in and outside of AI models

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Security leaders to embed secure-by-design principles into AI systems, data platforms, and product workflows

  • Translate technical risk into business impact, providing clear updates, trade-off discussions, and recommendations to executives

  • Ensure products meet internal security standards, industry frameworks, and regulatory requirements

  • Define measurable success criteria and report outcomes to leadership


Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 12+ years of experience in technical program management or related leadership roles focused on data security and/or AI/ML security

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Technology or Computer Science or Cybersecurity

  • Experience with data security and AI/ML security principles, including secure model development, adversarial risk mitigation, and data governance

  • Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional security or engineering programs

  • Track record of leading cultural change to foster security-first engineering practices

Preferrednbsp;

  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong skills in program planning, prioritization, and driving accountability across teams

  • Strong experience using data to make informed decisions, measure progress, and find opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Experience establishing security visibility, monitoring, and detection programs

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR FedRAMP, etc.)

  • Track record of leading cultural change to foster security-first engineering practices


Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $157,500.00 - $254,350.00 base salary

Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $151,200.00 - $222,450.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
