Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a System Administrator to support mission-critical applications and systems for multiple Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) projects. In this role, you will ensure system operational compliance, perform troubleshooting, and engage in various technical and program management activities to maintain and enhance system performance. This hybrid position is based in Hanover, MD. What you will do Ensure system operational compliance and perform troubleshooting to maintain system functionality. Engage in program management, mission support, software integration, system engineering, migration, testing, and documentation. Monitor networks and systems, manage configuration control, and oversee release management. What you need to have Education & Experience: 10 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (4 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree). Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph (required). Certifications: DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher (if applicable). Technical Skills: In-depth understanding of RedHat Linux 8 and above, and Windows 10/11. What we'd like you to have Familiarity with AWS/eVo, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience with configuration management, monitoring, version control, and infrastructure deployment tools. Ability to perform system startup and shutdown, vulnerability scans, and patch management on Linux and Windows systems. Skilled in creating and updating documentation and diagrams, including System Security Plans, Security CONOPS, FAQs, and How-To guides. Ability to maintain current documentation with minimal supervision. Excellent time management skills for multitasking and prioritization.
