As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. You will manage access control, monitor alarm panels, and assist with badge procedures, all while representing Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk in a healthcare environment.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of visitors, patients, and/or staff as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and providing directions or information as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and/or visitors to address inquiries or concerns related to security-related matters.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and/or suspicious activities according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities at the front desk, coordinating with appropriate personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
