As a Security Officer - Armed Custom Protection Hospital Watch in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and respond to situations as they arise, while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a government location, providing a high level of customer service to all individuals encountered.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual conditions.
• Remain alert and attentive while monitoring assigned areas, reporting any irregularities to the appropriate authorities as required.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, maintaining composure and professionalism at all times.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of post orders, policies, and procedures relevant to the government environment and armed patrol responsibilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Possess a corrections officer license.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
