The Council for Professional Recognition is the nation’s leading credentialing organization for early childhood educators and the home of the Child Development Associate (CDA)® Credential—the most widely recognized certification in early childhood education. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Data Integration & DevOps Analyst to manage, integrate, and optimize enterprise data across the Council’s Microsoft-based technology environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, secure, and reliable data flows that support analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making. The IT Data Integration & DevOps Analyst advances the Council’s mission by delivering high-quality data solutions that enable informed decisions and organizational excellence. About the Role The IT Data Integration & DevOps Analyst is the Council’s primary technical data specialist responsible for managing and optimizing data integrations across Azure Synapse Analytics, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, and related Microsoft technologies. This role ensures that data flows efficiently and securely from core operational systems into downstream environments used for analytics, reporting, and business operations. In addition, the position supports DevOps functions by maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and ensuring consistent and reliable releases across development, test, and production environments. The IT Data Integration & DevOps Analyst works closely with the Business Data Analyst, Solutions Architects, vendors, and IT leadership to deliver scalable, high-quality data and integration solutions aligned with organizational goals. Position Details Location: Remote Reports to: Enterprise Solutions Architect Classification: Full-Time, Exempt Supervisory Responsibilities: None Travel: Minimal, as needed Salary: $105,000-$110,000/annually Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain data integrations across operational systems, Dataverse, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Dynamics 365. • Ensure synchronization, accuracy, availability, and consistency of data between operational and analytical environments. • Develop, support, and optimize ETL and ELT processes for analytics and reporting platforms, including Power BI. • Monitor and improve data quality through validation rules, reconciliation processes, profiling, and quality checks. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and application components using Azure DevOps and related tools. • Automate deployments and manage environment configurations to ensure consistent release processes across environments. • Monitor data pipelines and system performance; troubleshoot integration, pipeline, and deployment issues. • Collaborate closely with the Business Data Analyst to align data models, integration logic, and structures with reporting requirements. • Develop and maintain data models for both operational and dimensional databases. • Maintain clear technical documentation for data flows, integrations, transformations, and DevOps processes. • Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Integration Developers, vendors, and IT leadership on platform enhancements and issue resolution. Our Ideal Candidate • Five (5) or more years of experience in data integration, data management, or DevOps within Microsoft-based environments. • Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365 integrations. • Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data transformation. • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools. • Familiarity with APIs, ETL/ELT processes, and system integration best practices. • Understanding of Power BI datasets, dataflows, and enterprise data connectivity. • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards such as FERPA. • Experience with automation scripting using PowerShell or Python preferred. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including working with vendors and cross-functional teams. • Bachelor’s degree required in information systems, computer science, data engineering, or equivalent experience; master’s degree preferred. • Proactive, organized, and committed to documentation and continuous improvement.
