We are seeking a proven Sales Leader to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion for a well-established industrial services organization in the San Leandro / East Bay market. This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on sales professional who understands how to lead teams, build strong customer relationships, and win in a competitive B2B environment.

This position oversees a branch sales organization spanning multiple lines of business, with full responsibility for sales strategy, execution, forecasting, and team performance. The successful candidate will create a culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and being the easiest partner to do business with.

Local market knowledge is essential, and candidates must bring at least 2 years of sales leadership experience within the industrial services or industrial equipment sales space.


What You'll Do


  • Lead and grow branch sales performance across all lines of business, driving revenue, profit margin, and overall sales growth.



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, consultants, and industry partners while staying deeply informed on market conditions, competitor activity, and customer needs.



  • Recruit, develop, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives, including goal setting, performance reviews, training, and quarterly performance management.



  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to support strategic leads, labor estimating, and profitable deal execution.



  • Drive business development initiatives while ensuring strong customer retention through proactive service and relationship management.



  • Oversee sales processes including CRM activity, forecasting, pipeline management, and incentive approvals to ensure consistency and accountability.



  • Review and approve bids and proposals in accordance with approval thresholds, ensuring profitability and compliance.



  • Analyze P&L and financial performance to monitor branch sales results, control cancellations, and support budgeting and forecasting.



  • Participate in and lead bidding strategies, presentations, and customer engagements, including technical reviews and facility tours as needed.



  • Champion a consistent, professional brand presence across all sales presentations, proposals, and customer interactions.




What We're Looking For


  • Bachelor's degree required.



  • 7+ years of direct B2B sales experience within the industrial sector is required.



  • Minimum 2 years of sales leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to coach and develop high-performing sales teams.



  • Strong background in field-based industrial sales within a highly competitive market.



  • Proven ability to guide teams through complex contract proposals, bids, and customer negotiations.



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience reviewing financials, forecasts, and sales metrics to drive profitability.



  • Comfortable interpreting technical information, drawings, and specifications related to industrial products or services.



  • Local to the San Leandro / East Bay area with strong knowledge of the regional market.



The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
