As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Rochelle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This post includes driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points within the food and beverage production environment to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any security-related concerns or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and client management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
