Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Facility in Brockton MA

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8 AM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Security Officer Armed in Brockton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol government locations to help create a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This role requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, both on foot and/or by vehicle, to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor the location for security-related concerns, reporting and documenting incidents as required by site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or critical events.
• Complete required training and maintain all necessary certifications for armed patrol assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
